Daybreakers

Daybreakers takes place in 2016. It’s been about six to eight years since a bat virus infected the human race turning them into (all together now) vampires. The fortunate souls (or less fortunate, depending on your philosophy) that managed to avoid infection went into hiding. The humans that couldn’t avoid capture were labeled as flesh covered blood bags and used to feed the new dominant species on the planet.

Time is of the essence when Bromley Marks, the leading and seemingly sole distributor of blood portions worldwide, discovers they are running out of humans to (gulp) milk. Head honcho, Charles Bromley (Sam Neill), tasks his leading hematologist, Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke), to create a synthetic blood substitute that will save the vampires from a fate worst than death.

See, when a vampire doesn’t get their daily blood intake they start to mutate into bat-like creatures. The human blood is the only thing keeping the vampires human (or at least, “human looking”). Without it they will become even more monstrous then they are now. As Edward races against time to create a blood substitute the glittery vampire culture begins to deteriorate into madness and chaos as the blood flow starts to dry up.

My Review : In this movie , the human population just less than 5 % and 95% is vampire.Vampire need blood to survive and they trying find the solution. The Blood doctor Edward refuse to drink human blood and searching for the cure. He meets a girl and the girl bring him to 1 guy which is transform from vampire to human. The blood doctor found that the sunlight can turn the vampire back to human . The blood doctor forced to deal with Head honco as he want to save the girl life. The vampire will bites the human but if that blood inside the human got cure , the vampire will be turn back to human . I rate this movie 5.5/10 .

第四类接触The Fourth Kind

剧情简介：1972年，人类建立起与外星生物遭遇的四种阶段分类。看到UFO被称为第一类，有证据显示的确是外星来客是第二类，与外星人产生接触被定为第三类，第四类是被外星人绑架。其中第四类是最难记录的一种，直到现在也是如此。

　　本片根据真实事件改编而成，故事发生在阿拉斯加州的一个小镇。40多年里，镇上不断发生离奇的人口失踪案件，因为一直调查无果，导致政府对此也熟视无睹保持缄默。米拉·乔沃维奇扮演的女主人公，执意要查清事实，结果发现了背后可怕的真相……

The film opens with Milla Jovovich introducing herself as the actress who will play Dr. Abbey Tyler. She explains to the audience that everything on the screen will be from video provided by Tyler, audio recordings, or interviews with Tyler. She leaves us to ponder the upcoming movie and decide for ourselves what we believe. The Fourth Kind then goes directly to split-screen between an “actual” video of Abbey Tyler and Milla Jovovich saying exactly the same thing, at the same time, as if to prove to us they are honest depictions. Abbey Tyler, a therapist, is conducting a study of the momentously unstable Nome population. Her patients all report the same experiences and sleeplessness. The insomnia and missing persons seem to be epidemic in Nome. A proponent of hypnotherapy, she gently puts her patients in a trance. As patients remember more and more, they become more vulnerable to malevolent forces. Local sheriff August (Will Patton) tells her to stop the hypnosis sessions, but she feels that she must get to the bottom of what is behind her patients’ visions and sleep deprivation. Somehow, it is all connected.

My review : In this movie , you can exposed to so many "ridiculous" theories . Alien abduction ? This is happen when Abbey's daughter was disappear . They did show the CCTV but that is unclear . Obviously , that CCTV has been interrupted and cannot record down what is actually happen . Furthermore , you also will listen alien talking with unknown language . 

You believe or not depend on you .

The Director intersperses the film with an interview between himself and the “actual” Abbey. “Actual” Abbey, sitting in her wheel chair, pale and frail, explains what she thinks happened while she and other Abbey are depicted on the screen.

Under the Mountain

Based on a popular fantasy novel by Maurice Gee, this New Zealand entry manages to invoke nearly every genre cliche ever formulated by the lazy mind of man. The plot and basic concept behind the film defy comprehension, and one suspects that both were infinitely clearer in the novel, given the greater expansiveness available to that medium.

It's something about two alien species who, after teaming up, have tromped through the universe since the beginning of time subjugating various peoples, and now it's the turn of the earthlings. All that stands between us and complete destruction are two twins, a boy and a girl, who must learn to trust one another, and a certain Mr. Jones (Sam Neill), the "master of fire" who admits that he is "not of this world."

All of this balderdash is perfectly acceptable in a fantasy film addressed, quite wholesomely, to the whole family. It's the paucity of imagination on display that's the real problem. The monsters are smelly and ultra-slimy, since it was discovered in "Aliens" that slime carried the greatest gross-out power. The twins communicate to each through a strange whisper that is presumably meant to convey that they can read each others' minds. There's an old haunted house -- in fact, a former mortuary! -- that is eerily filled with sounds of heavy breathing, and a frantic adolescent girl runs, many, many times, from a monster with snaky and, yes, slimy, arms. When she goes off to do battle with the aliens, this girl, newly empowered, is earnestly exhorted by her friends to "be careful!"

The acting of the young unknowns is seriously limited, hence the presence of Sam Neill -- who almost manages to make the whole enterprise work -- is a godsend. But this godsend, alas, is a gift smothered by its packaging.

My review:The twins on this movie can communicate with their brain without talking . On the other side , Mr Jones (Fire raiser) need find twins to use the some kind of magic fire stone to destroy the alien( i think is predator ) . In order to destroy them , Mr.Jones  need to bring the twins(others) to the mountain but unfortunately was be killed by alien.   So , this twins was the last hope to save the earth . Predator also very smart de , they already sense that twins will be a threat to them . Thus , they already plan to kill just 1 of them . Girl was nearly killed by them but luckily Mr.Jones cure her . At the end , she also nearly being killed but her willpower was so strong and the magic stone release the energy and then finally destroy them . Good production but still can be better.

Owing to runaway inflation,

Our country's currency has greatly depreciated

Our salary still remain the same ,

Even the salary increase but cannot follow up the inflation

Household goods , food , petrol , toll fees keep increasing

Citizen sense that the salary given not enough to spend

Even save a little money for emergency also is a big problem for them

Poor de ppl more poor , rich de ppl more rich

My background of family is kinda poor ,

But i do not want to be a poor people

I believe my future is on my hand

Its depend on how you decide your future

Important of Life is not to fight hand or work hard

Its do you chose the right method?

If you chose the right method , then you will be a rich people

Otherwise you will continue be a poor people

When you working

Try look on your supervisor or Department head

The salary is how much ? Rm3000 ? RM4000 ?

Pendek kata , you will become another him if you keep working

You have to spend many year to sit his seat right ?

Lets say about 10 years ?

But you do not forget our country's currency keep depreciated

That time de Rm4000 is equal now de Rm4000 ?

Long time ago ( my parent generation) ,

They only spend Rm0.40 to watch a movie in cinema

Year 2010 ? RM10 ? RM12 ? Cheapest also RM5 and only for student

So do you imagine what will happen at 10 years later?

To be rich , we need to do customer

At the same time also be a producer

This is the trend for 21th century

The movie started with Confucius visiting the ruler of the Kingdom of Lu . The ruler is impressed with how he ruled his city as people were happy with how he govern and they are contributing much to the kingdom’s coffers.

Soon he become famous , he gained disciples who follow his teachings. His disciples are well known for their intelligence, strategy and loyalty. A lot of pepole were jealous and upset with him as he’s merely a commoner and not a noble. In the end, they were able to convince the ruler to let him go.

In his exile, he and his disciples wandered and teach from state to state and eventually he became known as a scholar and educator. In the Kingdom of Wei, he met the consort of the ruler (Zhou Xun), who is interested in his teachings. However, he didn’t stay long as he thought that the way they rule will not last long.

After more than 10 years , the son of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lu asked Confucius help in the war. He sent his disciple and finally help kingdom of Lu wins the war. He continued on his journey and lost one of his best disciple as he froze to death trying to save the scrolls. He lost another disciple when the coup happened at Kingdom of Wei .  

In the end, the Prime Minister would like to apologize to Confucius for driving him away out of the kingdom. Confucius  agreed to return. He does not want to involved in politics any longer but to educate the people only.  

My review : This movie quite boring . “Confucius” leans heavily on both the production values and cultural significance to stay in the game. Putting aside fake CGIs and dodgy visuals, this is one hell of a fine-looking production . Clearly , “Confucius” isn’t anyone’s cup of tea.
